Thai Airways will operate following extra flight from Oslo to Bangkok:

Depart Oslo: 22 April at 14:15
Arrive Bangkok: 23 April at 06:15 (local time)

Passengers who are holding tickets on previous cancelled flights from 15-21 April, and have not yet rebooked their tickets to a later scheduled departure, may change their reservation to the special flight.

Change of reservation should be made through the travel agent where the original booking is made.

15 APRIL 16:45 hrs TG955 OSLO-BANGKOK CANCELLED
According to latest information from Civil Aviation Authorities, all Norwegian airports are closed 15th and 16th April due to Volcanic Eruption in Iceland.
TG955 15th and 16th April will consequently not operate according to normal schedule.

Passengers who are holding confirmed tickets on TG955 15th and 16th of April Oslo-Bangkok should remain their original booking, and await further information on new time of departure.

Passengers who request to change travel date to later departure, may rebook their tickets free of charge until 30 April 2010. Please contact your travel agent for new reservation and revalidation of ticket.

For passengers travelling from Bangkok to Oslo, please contact the Thai Airways 24 hours service in Bangkok at phone number +66 (0) 2356 1111, or check with the local Thai Airways office.

All three airline categories were won by STAR ALLIANCE carriers; SAS as best domestic airline, Lufthansa as best european airline and THAI as best intercontinental airline.

Thailand was also voted for the category best tourist country in the world. Over ten countries were nominated, and Thailand was the clear winner once again. Thailand has received the award more than ten times, and was received by Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand in Scandinavia, Mr. Manit Boonchim.
